Description

54 Ridgeway is a detached house, later converted into flats, built in 1908. It was designed by Sir T G Jackson and is constructed of brown brick with red dressings, featuring a hipped slate roof extending to the eaves. The architectural style is Queen Anne revival. The house is two storeys high with dormers and comprises five bays. A central, projecting two-storey porch has a moulded segmental entrance arch, a Serlian window on the first floor, and a segmental open pediment above. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, all with segmental heads. There are three dormers, the outer ones with segmental casements and the inner one with a triangular casement, all with glazing bars.
