Description
Ridgeway Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage located on the south side of Weston and Weedon High Street. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a thatched roof with a brick stack positioned to the left of center. The cottage is two storeys tall and has two bays.
The doorway is located in the left bay and has a wooden lintel, leading to a 20th-century half-glazed door and a timber porch with a thatched roof. To the right of the doorway, there is a three-light window with a wooden lintel and an old iron casement. In the second bay from the right, there is another doorway with a wooden lintel that has a two-panel part-glazed door, accompanied by a timber porch with a thatched roof. The right bay features a 20th-century four-light casement window with a wooden lintel. On the first floor, there are two-light windows with wooden lintels and old iron casements. The interior has not been inspected.
