Description

No. 164 The Ridgeway is a 17th-century house that has undergone 20th-century alterations. It features a timber frame with painted brick and rendered infill, topped with a tiled roof. The house consists of two framed bays oriented east to west, with an external stack on the east gable. The south front has one storey with an attic, which is illuminated by three 20th-century gabled dormers. The ground floor includes five 20th-century top-opening casements, and the entrance is located in a 20th-century extension on the west gable. The east gable truss displays a collar with two struts.
