Description
Damson Tree Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It features a timber frame with painted brick and rendered infill, topped by a thatched roof. The building has two framed bays that are aligned east to west, with a stack located at the west end. The south front has one storey with an attic, which is illuminated by an eyebrow dormer. On the ground floor, there are two 20th-century casement windows, and the entrance is to the left through a ledged door. To the right, there is a 20th-century flat-roofed extension.
Inside, the chimney on the left is timber-framed, with a 19th-century brick stack inserted within it. The framing consists of two and three square panels high.
