Description

Prospect House is a detached house dating from the late 18th century, located in the London Borough of Merton, Mitcham. The building is constructed of brown brick and features a pantiled roof with a parapet. It stands two storeys high and has a three-bay central section flanked by lower two-storey, one-window wings, with the left wing being a 20th-century addition.

The central entrance is square-headed and has a bracketed cornice above it, leading to a six-panelled door. On either side of the entrance, there are small two-storey canted bay windows. The first floor of the central bay has a segmental-headed window, with similar windows in the subsidiary wings. The windows are horned sashes with glazing bars. The rear of the house is weatherboarded. The interior has not been inspected.
