Description

The forecourt walls, piers, railings, and gates of Eagle House date from 1705. They are constructed of brown brick with red dressings on the piers, which support stone cornices. The left pier features a surmounting eagle. The plain wrought iron railings are complemented by an elaborate wrought iron entrance gate that has an enriched monogramed overthrow. The piers closest to the house are topped with pineapple finials.
