Description

12 Belvedere Drive is a detached house built in 1900 and designed by A Saxon Snell. It is constructed of roughcast render, brick, and stone dressings, with a hipped tiled roof extending to the eaves. The architectural style is Free Domestic Revival. The house is two storeys high with dormers. It has three irregular bays, with roughcast on the first floor and brickwork below. The right side of the facade features a segmental-headed entrance, stone dressed, sharing a hood with a segmental bow window to its left. A tall, battered stack is situated to the right of the entrance. A canted oriel window is located at first floor level to the left. The windows are timber mullioned and transomed, including casements and sashes with small panes and glazing bars. A stained glass light is present in the window to the left of the front door. Two square-headed dormers are also visible. Large stacks are a prominent feature. The eaves incorporate egg and dart decoration. A battered wall extends to the left. The side returns are similar in design.
