Description

Hailey's Shop, also known as The Village Sweet Shop, is a 17th century or earlier building located on Bury Street in Ruislip. It has a shallow U-shape and consists of two storeys with four bays, where the outer bays project slightly under hipped gables. The building features a fairly high pitched hipped tiled roof, which has a central symmetrical compound stack with a cornice in several planes. Constructed of red brick, it has modern small paned casements. The Village Sweet Shop includes a late 19th century canted bay shop window and an old frame door to the left. Hailey's Shop features a late 19th century double shop front.
