Description

Lindfield Antiques is a shop that was originally a house, dating from the 16th century or earlier. It was altered in the 19th century to serve as a shop. The east elevation facing High Street features timber framing with square panels, while the south elevation facing Hickman's Lane has a red brick wall in English bond, set on a high sandstone plinth. The building has a steeply pitched modern tiled roof with a gablet and a 19th-century chimney stack on the ridge. It has two storeys and 19th-century casement windows, along with a late 19th-century shop front on the east elevation.
