Description

A house and restaurant, originally dating back to the 15th century, which was later refronted in the 19th century. The west elevation is now stuccoed, set upon a plinth, with a tiled roof and a prominent brick chimney stack located off-centre. The building is two storeys high with three windows. The first floor has three 19th-century metal casement windows. On the ground floor, to the south, is a centred shop window dating to the early 19th century, featuring 30 panes, and two other canted bays with three lights. A 19th-century doorcase is present, with a flat hood supported by brackets and panelled reveals. However, the original door has been replaced by an iron gate. An original external chimney stack is visible to the south.
