Description

The wall and gatepiers to No 88 are from the early 18th century. The wall features a base made of Sussex sandstone and is topped with cast iron spear railings that have urn-shaped supports. In the center, there are two rusticated square piers made of Sussex sandstone, which are adorned with an elaborate scrolled cast iron overthrow and a gate that includes a dog rail. To the left, there are four brick piers from the early 19th century, two of which have stone ball finials on top.
