Description
The Old Priory Restaurant is a 16th-century building that has undergone alterations. It features a timber-framed structure, although some walls are covered with 19th-century stock brick and other parts have later rendering. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays, with the outer bays having returned gable ends. It has high-pitched roofs made of old tile. The Old Priory Restaurant includes a modern glazed café front, while No 7 has a modern shop front and a long lean-to on the south end. The rear of the building is less altered, displaying a jettied first floor that is rendered but retains some visible posts, and a ground floor made of old brick.
