Description
The Haven is a detached house dating from 1894. Built of red brick with some roughcast rendering, it has a pitched tiled roof. The design is irregular, comprising two main bays across two storeys. The central entrance is defined by a segmental head and features a recessed panelled door. A canted ground floor bay is positioned to the right, and a low-set circular window is on the left. The upper floor has large timber mullioned windows incorporating Ipswich motifs. The windows are sash and casement types, with leaded panes. Two roughcast gables are present, along with a rich cornice. The rear elevation is also noteworthy. The interior includes a barrel vaulted inglenook, a seated alcove, and fireplaces.
