Description
The Manse is a detached house dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is two storeys tall and constructed of red brick. The building features three windows on the first floor and two larger windows on the ground floor, all of which are plate glass sashes with marginal glazing and moulded architraves. The central entrance has a six-panel door, with the upper panels glazed and supported by cut brackets beneath a flat hood. The roof is modern, covered with tiles and has stone coped verges, footstones, and gable end chimneys, along with a catslide roof to the rear. The property is enclosed by a retaining stone wall, with rusticated gate-piers at the northeast corner topped with moulded capping. The entrance gate is made of cast iron, featuring arrow head rails, dog rails, and a cross and quatrefoil middle rail.
