Description

Boyer's House is a mid-19th century alteration of an earlier house, located on Westbury Black Horse Lane, Westbury Leigh. The north-east front is rendered. The house is two storeys and has an attic, with a projecting central tower porch. The windows are pointed, with a range of paired sash windows with Gothic glazing in the heads, on each side of the tower porch, and a single window above the entrance. Three raking dormers are present; the left and centre dormers have paired lights, similar to those below, while the right-hand dormer is a straightforward glazing bar sash. The entrance has a pointed architrave to the porch, and the doorway has glazed upper panels, along with a wreath and mask knocker. Ramped copes extend to screen walls of the single-storey flanking offices. The south-west front features two-storey, four-light bay sections with gabled attics above. Round-headed windows are on the attic and first floors. A projecting porch has pointed openings and a doorway. The front is rendered with panelled corner piers. A double ridge mansard roof is topped with four gable end chimneys.
