Description

Selhurst War Memorial is a tall Celtic cross made of granite. The front features a carving of a sword and an inscription that reads: "TO THE GLORY OF GOD / AND / IN MEMORY / OF ALL WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES / IN THE GREAT WAR / 1914 - 1918 / ERECTED BY THE PEOPLE OF SELHURST." This inscription is located on a rounded stone plinth, which rests on a granite block that stands on a two-stepped base.
