Description
Christ's College is a rectangular building constructed between 1860 and 1861 by Edward Roberts. It is made of red and blue brick in a modified Gothic style. The building features gabled and slated roofs, with a tall round tower at one corner topped by a low conical spire. It has two and three storeys above a basement. The ground floor contains a hall, and there is a spiral stair in the tower. The second floor, which formerly housed dormitories, has open roof trusses. The tower is particularly notable.
