Description

The Former Dunstable Grammar School, built between 1887 and 1894 by E R Robson, is designed in a Free Tudor style. It is constructed of red brick with stone dressings, features tile-hanging, and has a red tiled roof. Above the entrance, there is an octagonal tower topped with an octagonal bell turret. To the left of the entrance, the hall is characterized by large mullion and transom windows, along with a central octagonal fleche on the roof. To the right of the entrance, there is a two-storey wing; the ground floor is made of brick and stone, while the first floor is tile-hung, and it includes a timber-framed dormer.
