Description
The chest tomb, dating from around 1780, is located to the south of the Cartwright monument in the churchyard of St Mary-at-Finchley. It is made of Portland stone and features fielded panels on the sides, although the inscription panels have fallen off. The tomb is enclosed by its original cast-iron railings, which have spear-head finials and urn finials on the corner posts.
