Description

The statue of W E Gladstone is located on an island in the road in the City of Westminster. It was created in 1905 by the sculptor Hamo Thornycroft. The statue is made of bronze and depicts the Prime Minister in Chancellor's robes. Surrounding the statue are bronze allegorical figures, all set on a circular Portland stone pedestal that stands on a plinth.
