Description

TQ 2880 NW CITY OF WESTMINSTER UPPER BROOK 68/20 STREET, Wl No. 7 G.V. II Terraced house. 1732 with some late C.19 internal alterations and heightening. Brown brick with early C.19 stucco ground floor, slate roof. 4 storeys including later attic storey, basement and dormered mansard. 3 windows wide. Semicircular arched doorway to right with 6 panel door and patterned fanlight. Upper floors have recessed sashes with stuccoed reveals, under flat gauged arches. Crowning cornice. 1st floor has early C.19 geometric pattern cast iron balcony. Wrought iron area railings. Interior retains some original cornices, otherwise staircase and 1st floor decoration of the mid to later C.19, etc. Survey of London; Vol. XL.
