Description
No. 7 New Row is a terrace house with a shop, dating from the mid-19th century, which features a refronting or rebuild. The building is constructed of stock brick and has a concealed roof. The ground floor includes an altered late 19th-century shop front beneath an entablature-fascia, with a plain square-headed house door located to the right. The upper floors are fitted with recessed glazing bar sashes that sit under gauged flat arches, while the top floor features a wide segmental arched three-light workshop window. The building is topped with a parapet that has coping. It is included for its group interest in this street, which was laid out in the 1630s as part of the Bedford Estate Covent Garden development.
