Description

25 New Row is a terrace house with a shop, dating from the late 17th or early 18th century, with the top floor rebuilt later. The house is part of the Bedford Estate's 17th-century development of Covent Garden.

The building is constructed of dark red and multi-coloured brick and features a concealed roof. It stands four storeys high and is three windows wide. The ground floor has an altered late Victorian shop front beneath a deep fascia. The upper floors have recessed wooden casement windows set within segmental arches on the first and second floors. A brick plat band runs horizontally across the facade. A parapet with coping sits above.

Inside, the first-floor room retains some panelling and a box cornice. A dog-leg closed string staircase rises from the first floor.
