Description

No 230 is a terrace house with a shop, dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, with alterations made in the early to mid 19th century. The building is faced with stucco and has a slate roof. It stands four storeys high, plus an attic, and is three windows wide. The ground floor features a plain 19th-century shop front with a panelled and glazed door to the left. The upper floor has sash windows that create the lights of a full-width canted bay, which is supported on shaped brackets above the ground floor. The building is topped with a parapet that has coping.
