Description

No. 16 Marlborough Place is a detached house dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of stucco, arranged over three storeys and a basement, and features a three-window facade, plus a two-storey, one-bay entrance porch to the right. The front door is panelled. The ground floor is characterised by channelling, with rusticated quoins above it, and pilastered quoins to the ground floor. The windows above the ground floor are architraved and corniced. Stucco bands delineate the storeys. The roof is low-hipped, extending to the eaves. The windows are sash windows; the upper windows have margin glazing, while the ground floor windows feature plate glass.
