Description

Nos 60 and 62, Marlborough Place are a pair of semi-detached houses dating from the mid-19th century. They are constructed of brick with stucco dressings, and have a roof that is not visible. The houses are three storeys high, with a basement level. Each house is three windows wide, with the outer sections recessed slightly, featuring projecting Doric porches with steps leading to the entrances. The windows have square, architraved surrounds, with pediments over the ground-floor windows and cornices above the first-floor windows. They are sash windows with glazing bars. A cornice sits above the second floor, and a parapet tops the building. Cast iron balconies are present on the first floor.
