Description

No. 24 Loudoun Road is a detached house dating from approximately 1840, constructed of stucco with a slate roof. The building is designed in a Tudor/Gothic style. It is two storeys high and comprises three bays, with the right-hand bay projecting slightly as a cross wing, topped with a large gable. A smaller gable is present on the left-hand bay. The central entrance is square-headed and features a panelled and traceried door. Windows are square-headed with timber cross mullions on the ground floor, the two-light windows to the left featuring dripmoulds. The ground floor windows contain small panes and margin glazing. Moulded coping and spiked finials adorn the gables.
