Description

No. 18 Loudoun Road is a detached house dating to circa 1840 and built of stucco. It has a slate roof, extending to the eaves. The house is designed in a Tudor/Gothic style. It is two storeys high, with three bays. The right-hand bay projects slightly, topped by a large gable. There is a smaller gable to the left-hand bay. The central entrance is square-headed, with a panelled and traceried door. The ground floor windows are square-headed with timber cross mullions, in a two-light arrangement. The drip moulds have been removed, and the windows now contain plate glass casements. Moulded copings feature on the gables, each with an inset, one-light pointed lancet window.
