Description

This is a terrace of houses at 18-42 Orsett Terrace, W2, built in the mid-19th century. The houses are constructed of brick with stucco dressings, and have a basement and four storeys. Each house has a two-window frontage. The central three houses, along with the houses at each end of the terrace, project slightly and feature rusticated quoins. The ground floor has channelled stucco detailing, and each house has a slightly projecting Doric porch with a panelled door. A continuous balcony runs across the first floor, jutting over the porches. The windows are sash windows with plate glass. The ground floor windows have architraves, while the first-floor windows are corniced. A cornice sits above the third floor. Cast iron area railings are present.
