Description

A pair of mid-19th century terraced houses located on Bishop’s Bridge Road in the City of Westminster. The houses are constructed of stucco, with the roof not visible. They are four storeys high with an attic. Each house has two windows, with an additional splayed bay to number 23. The ground floor is channelled, and features Doric porches. Panelled doors are located on the first floor. A continuous, bombé cast iron balcony runs along the front. The windows have square heads with architraves above the ground floor, and cornices to the first and second floors. A guilloche band is positioned above the second floor, and there is a dentil cornice above the third floor, with a subsidiary cornice to the attic. Cast iron area railings are present. The houses are included on the list solely for their group value.
