Description
This is a terrace of three houses located at numbers 40, 42, and 44 on Inverness Street, built in the mid-19th century. The houses are constructed from yellow stock brick and feature stucco dressings, including a channelled stucco ground floor and a first-floor band. The terrace has three storeys and basements, with two windows for each house. The entrances are square-headed, featuring panelled doors and overlights. The windows have architraved sashes, with the first floor adorned with console bracketed cornices and cast-iron balconies, while the second floor originally had lugged sills. The terrace is topped with a cornice and a blocking course. The attached cast-iron railings with spearhead finials are notable subsidiary features. The interiors have not been inspected.
