Description
Nos. 45 to 51, Cambridge Street form a terrace of houses dating to circa 1840. The buildings are constructed of brick with stucco dressings and have roofs that are not visible. The end houses are set forward slightly and feature rusticated quoins. The terrace is three storeys high with a basement. Each house has a two-window frontage. The entrances are square-headed and contain panelled doors. The ground floor features channelling. First-floor balconies are made of cast iron. The windows are square-headed with architraves above the ground floor, and are largely sash windows, with some margin glazing and some plate glass. A dentil cornice sits above the second floor, surmounted by a parapet. Cast iron area railings are also present.
