Description
This is a corner terraced house located at 11 Sutherland Street, Westminster, dating to around 1840. The house is constructed of stucco, with an obscured roof. It stands four storeys high, plus a basement, and is three windows wide facing Sutherland Place, with a canted return to the left on the Sutherland Row side. The ground floor features channelling. A projecting porch with a balustraded balcony sits above, supported by Doric columns. The windows are square-headed, with architraves above the ground floor and cornices to the first floor. They are sash windows, primarily with plate glass. A console cornice is situated above the third floor. Cast iron area railings are present. The building is listed for its group value.
