Description
This is a terrace of houses located at 13-31 Sutherland Street, London SW1, dating to approximately 1840. The buildings are constructed of stucco, with the roof not visible. The terrace comprises four storeys and each house has two windows. The ground floor features channelling, while the front of each house is adorned with Doric porches and a triglyph frieze. A continuous balustraded balcony runs along the first-floor level. Window architraves are present above the ground floor windows. The windows are square-headed, with sashes, and some first-floor windows have French casements with plate glass. Cornices are visible above the first-floor windows, and the end houses project slightly, topped with segmental pediments. A console cornice sits above the third floor. The terrace is completed with cast iron area railings.
