Description

This is a terrace of houses dating to circa 1835, located on the north side of Cambridge Street in the City of Westminster. The buildings are constructed of brick with stucco dressings, and a roof that is not visible. Numbers 17, 25, 33, and 39 project slightly forward and feature rusticated quoins. The terrace is three storeys high and includes a basement. Each house has a two-window front. The entrances are square-headed and contain panelled doors. The ground floor features channelling, while the first floor has cast iron balconies. The windows are square-headed, with architraves above the ground floor, sash windows, and margin glazing. A dentil cornice is located above the second floor, though it is damaged. There is a parapet above, and cast iron area railings are present. The terrace forms a cohesive layout with the even-numbered houses at 16 to 44.
