Description
A terrace of houses located on Cambridge Street in Westminster, built around 1835. The buildings are constructed of brick with stucco dressings and some slate attic mansards. Numbers 20, 26, 34, and 40 project slightly forward and feature rusticated quoins. The terrace comprises three storeys and a basement, with each house having a two-window facade. The entrances are square headed and feature panelled doors. The ground floor is characterised by channelling, while the first floor includes cast iron balconies. Windows are sash style with margin glazing, set within square headed architraves above the ground floor. A largely intact dentil cornice sits above the second floor. Cast iron area railings are present. The terrace contributes to a cohesive streetscape with the neighbouring properties at numbers 15 to 43 on the opposite side of the street.
