Description

TQ 2880 NE CITY OF WESTMINSTER FARM STREET 69/250 No 41 (The Punch Bowl 15/7/87 Public House) GV II Public House. Circa 1750, altered. Stuccoed brick, gambrel roof, partly pantiled, partly plain tiled. 3 storeys plus dormers. 3 bays. Ground floor with 2 right hand bays advanced with c. mid-C19 pilastered pub front. Square headed windows; plate glass sashes. Stucco band at level of second floor sills. Parapet with words 'The Punch Bowl' impressed in stucco frieze below 2 square headed dormers. Interior retaining dog leg closed string turned baluster staircase, dado panelling and door architraves, corner fireplaces to rear rooms and cornice to first floor rear room.
