Description
No 22 and 23 Old Burlington Street are terraced houses built around 1812. They are constructed of painted brick and feature a slate roof. The buildings rise four storeys, with a basement and a dormered mansard roof. No 22 is two windows wide, while No 23 is four windows wide. Both houses have semicircular arched doorways, located to the left and centre respectively, which include fanlights and reeded doorframes with rosette stops, leading to six-panel doors. No 22 features a mid-19th century stucco surround and a bracketed cornice. The windows are recessed glazing bar sashes with flat gauged arches. There is a stuccoed plat band across the first floor and a parapet with coping. The properties are also adorned with cast iron area railings that have urn finials.
