Description
No. 2 Old Burlington Street is a terrace house built in the late 18th century, with an additional attic storey added in the early 19th century. The building is constructed of reddened brick and features a slate roof. It stands five storeys tall with a basement and is three windows wide. To the right, there is a square-headed doorway with pilaster jambs that support a cornice head, which includes a fanlight, sidelights, and the original six-panel door. The windows are recessed sash types without glazing bars, set under flat gauged arches. A string course runs along the first floor, and there is a main cornice above the third floor, topped by a parapet with coping. A cast iron balcony with a geometric pattern spans the first floor.
