Description

This is a pair of terraced houses located on Ashmill Street, within the City of Westminster, built around 1820 to 1830 as part of the Portman Estate development. The buildings are constructed of stock brick with stuccoed ground floors, and have concealed slate roofs. They are three storeys high, with two windows visible on each front. The left-hand property features semicircular arched doorways with panelled doors and fanlights. The upper floors have recessed glazing bar sashes, set within flat gauged arches. Garage doors have been inserted in place of the original ground floor windows of number 100. Cast iron railings are present at numbers 99 and 101.
