Description
Church House, attached to Hinde Street Methodist Church, was built between 1881 and 1887 by James Weir and shares the same architectural style as the church. It is constructed of grey gault brick with brown stone dressings, maintaining stylistic continuity with the church. The building has three storeys and a basement, featuring five windows across its façade. A corniced doorway is located at the center, approached by steps. The windows are recessed sashes set in stone architraves with cornices, with those on the first floor adorned with pediments and a pedimented central window on the second floor. There is an applied parapet on the first floor and flanking channelled quoin piers. The building is topped with a crowning cornice and a stone balustrade that connects with the church. Additionally, there are cast iron area railings.
