Description

No. 21, Bulstrode Street is a terraced house dating from approximately 1800 to 1820. It is constructed of plum brick, with a concealed slate roof. The house has four storeys and a basement and is two windows wide. A square-headed doorway is located on the right-hand side, featuring a panelled door with a fanlight within an architrave surround, and sheltered by a shallow cornice hood. The windows are recessed sash windows with glazing bars, set beneath painted, flat, gauged arches. There are two windows with glazing bars on the ground floor, as well as on the upper floors. A moulded wooden string band runs above the ground floor. The building has a parapet with stone coping, and cast iron area railings topped with urn finials.
