Description

These are a row of terraced houses dating from around 1830 to 1840, built as part of the Portland Estate development. They are constructed of stock brick with the ground floors finished in channelled stucco. The houses are three storeys high and have a two-window front. A square-headed doorway is located on the left side, featuring a fanlight above the door. The upper floors have recessed sash windows, set beneath flat, gauged arches. The first-floor windows are accentuated by consoled cornices. A plat band runs above the ground floor. Nos 93 and 94 have a moulded stucco cornice and parapets, while Nos 88 to 92 have stucco coped parapets. Cast iron balconettes are present on the first floor of all the houses, except for No. 94. The properties are included on the list solely for their group value.
