Description

4 and 5 Acacia Road are a pair of semi-detached houses dating from the mid-19th century. They are built of stucco, with a pitched slate roof, and are designed in a Tudor 'Gothic' style. The houses are two storeys high, with a basement. Number 4 has two bays, while Number 5 has two bays plus wings. The inner bay of Number 4 slightly projects forward, featuring an entrance with a battlemented detail above the first floor. The wider bay of Number 5 is gabled and also projects. Drip-mouldings are present on the ground floor and the central bay of the first floor of Number 5. The windows are casements, some of which have been altered. The buildings are included on the list for their group value.
