Description

Former St Pauls Church, built in 1846-1847, was designed by architect Henry Roberts in the Early English style. The building is constructed of stock brick with stone dressings and features a western tower and spire. It replaced the Episcopal Floating Church and was established as a Seamen's Church. The foundation stone was laid by the Prince Consort.
