Description

St Paul's Mission Room and Infant Nursery is a mid-19th century building designed in the Gothic style. It is constructed of stock brick, featuring a red brick eaves cornice and decorative red and blue brick bands. The building has stone dressings around its doors and windows, and a steeply pitched tiled roof adorned with cresting. A stone-banded chimney with three linked shafts rises from the roof. The structure is single-storey with dormers that extend through the eaves. There are two windows that are asymmetrically placed, primarily featuring latticed casements. This building is part of a group with Wilton's Music Hall and Grace's Alley, contributing to the character of Wellclose Square.
