Description
The gatehouses to the principal entrance of the London Docks were built in the early 19th century and are made of yellow stock brick. There is a gatehouse on each side of the main entrance, each featuring a stucco cornice and a blocking course. They have a pedimented doorcase that includes massive, eight-panelled wooden doors. The gatehouses are part of a group that includes the listed buildings and walls of the London Docks.
