Description

The Church of St Mary at Elvetham Hall, built between 1840 and 1841, was designed by architect Henry Roberts, with the spire likely added later by architect S S Teulon. This church is constructed in the Norman style using flint with stone dressing and features a slate roof. The building includes a nave, chancel, north transept, west tower, and a spire. The spire is made of stone and has angels projecting from its base, with four columns topped by carved figures rising from the broaches. The church is part of a group that includes Elvetham Hall, the stables, and the bridge.
