Description
This is a terrace of eight houses located on Walden Street, dating from the early 19th century. The houses are constructed of yellow stock brick. Number 2 features a slate mansard roof with a dormer and has two windows. Each house has round-arched entrances that are accessed by steps; the doorways include fanlights, cornice heads, and six-panelled doors. Number 2 has a stuccoed flat arch entrance surround with a narrow moulded cornice and a six-panelled door, where the top panels have been converted to glazing. The houses have gauged brick flat arches over recessed sash windows and semi-basement sashes with cambered arches, along with parapets. The interiors are believed to retain some original features.
