Description

No 1 Nelson Street is an early 19th-century building constructed of stock brick with a slate roof. It stands three storeys tall with a basement and features two windows on each floor, all with painted reveals. The windows are sashes, and there is a later shop front on the ground floor. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 10 to 20 (even) and Nos 24 to 32 (even) New Road.
